Darren is one of the founding members of Splendid and has a wealth of experience in the industry having worked with many of the leading events companies in the UK and abroad. Darren takes a very hands-on approach to the business and has been involved in the running of events since the business started. He is as at home at an international sporting event as he is in the Royal Palace, where Splendid is fortunate enough to work on a regular basis.
Darren thoroughly enjoys a challenge and loves using his problem solving logic and lateral thinking to come up with strategies for the most complex events. He has used these skills at events all over the world and as a result has become adept at dealing with the party staffing and service cultures of many different countries.
Co founder and Sales Director for Splendid, Nicholas is primarily responsible for business development within the Splendid Group. He is now based in Edinburgh having moved there permanently in 2001 in order to expand the company. In 2013 after a number of successful events in Brazil, Nicholas then became the driving force behind the setting up of our first international office in Rio de Janeiro.
As a bi-lingual, well-travelled, ex thespian, Nicholas is quite at home running an event or communicating with suppliers from overseas. He has worked with some of the finest events companies in the world and this experience along with his innate expertise ensures that his events are never less than world-class.

One of the business partners in Rio, Pedro started his relationship with Splendid back in 1999 while living in the UK and working for the Admirable Crichton. During his time with Admirable Crichton he gained experience in cocktail development, party staffing and the organising of top end events. This gave Pedro the passion and desire to pursue a career in this exciting industry.
Pedro moved back to Rio in 2006 and started working as the staffing manager for one of Rio's most prestigous caterers, Aquim Gastronomia. In 2012 he set up Riviera Cocktails, which is a highly sought after event cocktail specialists company.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Pedro has vast knowledge of the local market and is responsible for driving the business forward in Rio and South America. Pedro´s mission is to deliver events with the highest international standards of service.
